Grace

I always felt connected to the word FAITH. FAITH in God, Love, Family, Friends...but during my bible study this morning GRACE was the word I was pulled to.

Grace, think about it.

We talk as though we understand the term. The bank gives us a grace period. The seedy politician falls from grace. Musicians speak of a grace note. We describe an actress as gracious, a dancer as graceful. We use the word for hospitals, baby girls, kings, and pre-meal prayers. We talk as though we know what grace means.

But do we really understand it? Have we settled for wimpy grace? It politely occupies a phrase in a hymn, fits nicely on a church sign. Never causes trouble or demands a response. When asked, “Do you believe in grace?” who could say no?

Max Lucado asks a deeper question: Have you been changed by grace? Shaped by grace? Strengthened by grace? Emboldened by grace? Softened by grace? Snatched by the nape of your neck and shaken to your senses by grace?

God’s grace has a drenching about it. A wildness about it. A white-water, riptide, turn-you-upside-downness about it. Grace comes after you. It rewires you. From insecure to God secure. From regret riddled to better-because-of-it. From afraid to die to ready to fly.

Grace is the voice that calls us to change and then gives us the power to pull it off. Let’s make certain grace gets you.

Date Night

 Date night with BLAKELY!! Tab went to dinner with Katie and I got to sit with Blakely for a few hours. (Ryan was out of town, lucky me)

 The night started off a little rocky when Blakely woke up and realized Mommy was not there but we played

 blew raspberries

 eat dinner

 giggled a little

Freaked every so often when she realized I wasn't Mommy

 Why does this lady always have this bright light in my face? Can't she tell I am getting tried?

 I love my Binky

 Daddy text'ed and wanted to make sure his baby was okay so we had to take a picture to show him!

It was FUN Gigi, come play with me again soon!

 Uncle Bryan stopped by to drop off this little potty Nanny Glo bought the girls

 Holli's trying to walk so I picked this up and we decided to take it for a spin

 We tagged along with Tabatha to her first babies matinee (Odd Life of Timothy Green)

 Ruby came to town and bought a little puppy (Fancy) and Holli loved her or maybe Fancy loved Holli!?

Blakely took her 1st trip to COLORADO with Mommy & Daddy.

 4-hour overlay on the way home can wear a little one out.

 Ended the month celebrating Britt's 25th birthday with a jogging stroller

 Tab's great a sending a picture a few times a week so for your enjoyment, behold.

 The babies are growing so fact! Blakely is a little chatterbox and does not like to be still for to long. Holli isn't as vocal but can give a look if your not careful. Their personalities are really starting to come out. Hold on, it's going to be a great ride!
